On par with the prior two, possibly better, with countless acts of harsh violence and senseless destruction – perfectly executed and satisfying if you’re in the mood for that sort of thing … if you need to let off steam. Bizarre and endlessly colorful effects come in handy when a huge battle ensured over a discovered “cure” for mutancy. During the battles and wild destructiveness (“who’s gonna clean up this mess?!”) the Golden Gate Bridge gets “reengineered” and used to reach Alcatraz. Mutants have a tough choice: turn off their superpowers and uniqueness forever to become an ordinary human, or remain isolated from society. Worth seeing on the big screen(1 hr 43 min). |
